An ongoing collaboration with Maryse has drawn in everything from packaging and graphic design, film and photography to brand curation and motion. The conversation always returns to certain contrasting themes: forgoing idealised beauty and embracing naturalism, the hand-made with the scientific, the pragmatic and the poetic. The whole process is wonderfully experimental and permissive — allowing the work to stray into new channels just to see how it feels before returning to the conversation.
